President Maduro signs law reform to protect people with disabilities

Regarding the delivery of the Bolivarian Labor Education Workshop Costa Oriental del Lago (Eastern Coast of the Zulia Lake) in Cabimas, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, signed the reform of the law aimed at guaranteeing the comprehensive development of people with disabilities throughout the country, a new legislation that reflects the firm commitment of the national Government to the social protection of the most vulnerable sectors.

The so-called “Law for the Inclusion, Equality and Comprehensive Development of People with Disabilities” stands as a fundamental instrument to safeguard the rights and dignity of those who face physical or cognitive challenges.

It is important to highlight that the signing of this instrument took place in Cabimas, a fact that marks a historical milestone as it is the first time that a law of the Republic has been passed in this town, to guarantee the inclusion, equality and full development of people with disabilities. physical or cognitive development problems.
