The President of the Commission for Truth, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that this case opened an investigation to determine the responsibility of opposition actors who have promoted the affectation of the economic development of the country.
During the first session of the commission, there was a discussion on documents sent by the Head of State to the ANC, containing communications sent by Deputy Julio Borges to international financial actors so that financing lines for the acquisition of medicines and foods are not given; and another one that aimed to impede international investments in Venezuela.
«Both communications, and others of a similar nature, were sent by Deputy Julio Borges in order to affect the Venezuelan socioeconomic and financial system», she said.
Rodríguez said that this action falls within the purview of the Commission for Truth, because it seeks to affect the model of social inclusion, equality, human rights, in order to foster conditions of violence in Venezuela.
