Jorge Rodríguez: We are going to recover the dignity the AN deserves

The Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) will seek to recover the dignity of the Legislative Power in the parliamentary elections on December 6; This was expressed this Tuesday by the national head of the “Darío Vivas” Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, after formally beginning the campaign in the city of Caracas:

The battle that we have ahead is for the defense of the future, and we have to recover the dignity of that chamber in the National Assembly (AN). Today is the beginning of the end of those little bugs, we will tell the narco-governments and imperialism that we have the right to choose our representatives,” added Rodríguez.

The campaign will run until December 3; and the CNE stressed that public activities must be regulated by the bio-sanitary protocol in force for the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, the national by-list candidate Cilia Flores explained that everyone’s participation is required to change the AN, which in “five years has done a lot of damage.”

Since the right wing came to the AN, they removed the people and Chávez; they promoted guarimbas (riots) to try to make us surrender, and here no one gave up, ” said Flores.

Instead, she pointed out that they want to guarantee, with the laws, a better health service, to re-boost education and public services. In addition, they intend to guarantee compliance with the goal proposed by the National Executive to build five million homes.

Us on the GPP we are a guarantee of change; we have the experience, we know how to do it, we have the plan and the project. We will enter the AN with Chávez, Bolívar and firstly with the people, ”she added in a television broadcast.

During the day, the candidates of the GPP began their campaign activities in various regions of the country.

Earlier, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, led an event in Monagas state.

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Indira Alfonzo, also announced that the board of directors agreed to carry out a second drill on November 15, and reiterated that a regulation for the campaign was approved considering the health contingency.
