The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated on the coup d’ etat attempts promoted by the Venezuelan opposition, this time in order to avoid the election to the National Constituent Assembly.
“There they are lying to their followers, and also summoning for a coup d’ etat in Venezuela, we will see who can do more; the people who wants peace, freedom and revolution, or the rich minorities; they want a country of rich and poor, and we want one of equals, of respect and social rights”, he said.
During a meeting with the candidates for the National Constituent Assembly that took place in the Bolivar Square in the downtown of the city of Caracas, he said that once more he ratifies his commitment to democracy, freedom and independence of the country.
“The constituent power is alive … we want a country of people who work, who studies, to live in harmony and solidarity”, said the Venezuelan President.
