These statements were generated during his “Con Maduro +” program, in the «Digital Zone» segment, where he assured that good, productive and stable relations are being built between Colombia and Venezuela, in terms of investments, trade and economy:
«Colombian investors are investing in the Venezuelan economy in order to ally with Venezuelan businessmen. That is a good sign,» said the President regarding the increase in commercial relations between the sisterly nations.
In addition, he added that the Venezuelan economy «is our model, our capacity, our effort. We cannot expect anything but from ourselves»; This is in reference to the achievement that the Venezuelan nation has obtained despite the threats and sanctions that have been generated by the national and international extremist right wing.
Finally, he pointed out that he has always expressed to the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, that “as long as Venezuela and Colombia maintain open borders, businessmen and people are united, they will be able to consolidate the new path of economic integration.»
