Rodriguez denounced terrorist cell to act in opposition march of January 23


The vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism and Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the right-wing party “Voluntad Popular” (Popular Will (VP) was closely related to the action taken by a group of assailants against the detachment of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in the Petare parish, Miranda, according to the preliminary investigations:
“Voluntad Popular had a direct relation to the action of this group of militaries”, he denounced in a press conference from the Simón Bolívar hall at Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.
Rodriguez also reported on the training of a terrorist cell to act in the opposition’s march on January 23.
He warned sectors of the opposition, represented by the second vice president of the National Assembly (AN), Stalin González, about the execution of violent plans during the mobilization called for this Wednesday, January 23, by sectors of the Venezuelan opposition.
He explained that a total of 11 weapons of war, of the 51 taken from the detachment of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), are in the hands of right-wing groups with the intention of being used in flashpoints of violence.
