International red alert issued against head of terrorist attack in Caracas

Néstor Reverol, Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, reported that the Venezuelan Government requested Interpol to issue the red alert for the citizen Óscar Pérez, involved in the terrorist attack against the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace and the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), facts registered on Tuesday in Caracas.

Reverol denounced that: “The direct relationship of the material author of this terrorist act with intelligence agencies of the United States has been verified”.

He added that the Air Defense was ordered to proceed with the protocols of disuse of the aircraft used for that fact, considering it as a “hostile aircraft”, he said.

Likewise, he affirmed that “the officials who make up the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) are committed, professional persons and with a vocation for services and loyalty to the country, these events were isolated, individual, and do not represent the feeling of that noble security corps”.

Finally, he said: “We call on the people of Venezuela to be alert to any event that seeks to prevent the National Constituent Assembly, which is the way to guarantee peace and national dialogue. The information was provided by the holder of the portfolio of Interior, Justice and Peace.
