This Thursday, 311 repatriated Venezuelans arrived from Mexico at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in La Guaira state, as part of the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan.
These Venezuelans were received by Diosdado Cabello, the Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Citizen Security, and Peace, as well as by Ramón Velázquez, the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, and security agencies:
«This is a direct agreement with the Mexican government. 311 Venezuelans—women, men, families, and children— who are coming here today to return to their homeland,» said Cabello.
These individuals returned on a plane of the Conviasa airline, which is part of the efforts to guarantee human rights and support Venezuelan repatriates and migrants. This is the fourth flight to be carried out in the first quarter of 2025.
It was also reported that a medical team was deployed to provide medical care to these citizens, who will then be transported to their homes.
Cabello also commented that «thanks to the Vuelta a la Patria Plan, this is a new group that is taken away from the violence, persecution, and repression imposed in the United States, from the persecution imposed on citizens simply for being Venezuelan or for having a tattoo, and from considering all Venezuelans as criminals.»
