Venezuela strengthen ties with North Korea, Vietnam and Algeria


Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met with the representative of North Korea, Kim Yong-nam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of Korea, the Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh, and Larbi Ould Khalifa, President of the People’s Assembly of Algeria, during the performance of the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement, held in Margarita Island – Nueva Esparta state.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), commonly called North Korea to distinguish it from South Korea, is a sovereign country in East Asia. It occupies the northern portion of the Korean peninsula, located east of the People’s Republic of China, between the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea. It borders at north with China, at northeast with Russia, at the east with the Sea of Japan, at south with South Korea and at the west with the Bay of Korea and the Yellow Sea.
The Vietnamese Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh, exhorted at the NAM Summit to meet the UN agenda for sustainable development and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, urged to promote the South-South cooperation and to ensure that global administrative mechanisms may have the practical participation of the member countries of the movement,
Vietnam, officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is a sovereign country in Southeast Asia, the most easterly of the Indochina Peninsula.
