Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met with the representative of North Korea, Kim Yong-nam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of Korea, the Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh, and Larbi Ould Khalifa, President of the People’s Assembly of Algeria, during the performance of the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement, held in Margarita Island – Nueva Esparta state.

The Vietnamese Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh, exhorted at the NAM Summit to meet the UN agenda for sustainable development and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, urged to promote the South-South cooperation and to ensure that global administrative mechanisms may have the practical participation of the member countries of the movement,
