The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said this Tuesday that the Revolutionary people will not surrender or surrender in front of the actions and circumstances provoked by the Venezuelan right wing with the support of the Government of the United States.
“We the Venezuelan Revolutionaries are never going to surrender, whatever the circumstances of struggle that may come in 10, 20, 50 or 100 years. Be sure that the children of Bolivar and the heirs of (Hugo) Chávez will never surrender”, said the President.
He said that the Revolutionary process is the only guarantee of peace that the country has against the violent actions of the opposition, which in recent months has left a balance of 74 deaths and more than 1,400 injured. “We are the guarantee of the stability and peace of an entire region”, he said.
During the presentation of the National Prize of Journalists held at Miraflores Palace, the National Leader stressed to the communicators the need to make known the reality of Venezuela, a country that has become a pillar to maintain unity and stability in the region, concretized in the latest years by the progressive countries, and which is now being attacked with the return of neoliberalism in the continent.
“There are tasks, many tasks that we have pending, and the battle for the truth of Venezuela is a key battle in the future of the continent. If the fascist right wing and the pro-imperialist forces came to put their hands on this beautiful country, the entire American continent, the whole country would be destabilized. We the revolutionaries are not going to give up”, he said.
