COVID: 882 cases reported by Venezuela in the last 24 hours

The Presidential Commission for the Prevention, Care and Control of the Pandemic reported 882 new infections by Covid-19, all of community transmission.

Monagas registered the highest number of community cases, specifically 245, in 10 municipalities, followed by Falcón 181 and Miranda 77.

Unfortunately, 14 compatriots died from Coronavirus and the total death toll increased to 3,637.

At 506 days of pandemic in Venezuela, the total number of infections is 308,452, the patients recovered 293,672 and the current active cases 11,143.

Prevention and care are the best antidote against Covid-19; just as the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said, economic flexibility does not imply leaving aside biosafety measures.
