The President of the Presidential Commission for the Constituent Assembly, Elias Jaua, announced that it was received at the MUD headquarters the official invitation to the meeting to formally state the motivation of the Presidential Initiative that convenes a National Constituent Assembly.
The document, published in the @JauaMiranda Twitter account, states that among the objectives of the meeting is to receive contributions, observations and recommendations regarding the initiative of the President.
“This invitation I send to you so that it is extended to all political parties that make up your Organization”, reads the text of the official invitation.
In another message, Jaua reported that the invitation is also being addressed to other opposition political parties and stated that the meeting will be held next Monday, May 8 at 11am.
