We Venezuelans demand respect for our sovereignty and our independence

The president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, repudiated the repeated interference of the Spanish Congress in the internal affairs of Venezuela: “Our people are being besieged, and I take the opportunity to categorically reject any attempt by the Spanish parliament to meddle in the affairs of Venezuela … we demand respect for our sovereignty and our independence”, he detailed.

From Monagas state, in a commemorative act for the 200 years of the visit of Liberator Bolivar to Monagas, the event began with a parade where several educational institutions participated and was attended by the governor of the entity, Yelitze Santaella, and other officials.

Let’s remember that last Tuesday, the Congress of Spain asked the head of State of that country, Pedro Sanchez, to condemn the alleged “dictatorship” in Venezuela.

In another vein of ideas, Cabello called for the unity of the Venezuelan people in the face of imperial attacks, “There is nothing that harms a revolution more than internal conflicts (…) There is nothing that harms more a people, that a person entrusted with a job to have its own personal interests”, concluded Cabello.
