The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said this Tuesday that the only path to peace, to overcome difficulties is the originary constituent power. Therefore, he convened to all sectors of the country to join this calling, for the peace and stability of the Nation.
“That is why I have convened it and that is why we are going to a National Constituent Assembly that will rebuild the paths of harmony, of balance, tolerance, peace and the right of Venezuelans to live in this land of Grace in peace and harmony” said the President during a meeting with the Presidential Commission for the National Constituent Assembly, in Miraflores Palace.
He stressed that all political, economic, social and cultural sectors are called to participate in this constituent assembly and build a new economic and productive model.
He informed that in the coming days he will bring before the National Electoral Council (CNE) the electoral bases so that, whenever it is established, the people can elect their constituents through a universal and secret vote.
He also said that this National Constituent Assembly will strengthen the model of participatory democracy.
