Bolivarian Government will build alternative roads after US blockade

Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said on Tuesday that before the new executive order of the United States against the country, the Bolivarian Government will continue to build alternative paths.
At a press conference, Chancellor Arreaza denounced that the new US order «is a total blockade against the nation».
Arreaza reviewed the latest US coercive measures issued against Venezuela since 2014, noting that these, although they will leave a historical mark on the population, are not enough to break a country:
«It takes much more than a magnate-president to violate the dignity of Venezuela», reiterated the Chancellor.
He stressed that the US Government “Spies on us, violates international law and acknowledges it openly», which will affect the purchase of medicines and the policy of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP).
In that sense, the Chancellor urged the US president to deal with his affairs and to assess the consequences of his racist speech, such as the recent shootings in the city of El Paso, Texas, among other things also of the almost 100 million poor people he has his country. He noted that the free possession of weapons is one of the main causes of these types of actions in the US.
Similarly, Jorge Arreaza urged the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization, Antonio Guterres, and the UN High Commissioner, Michell Bachelet, to rule on the violation of the human rights of Venezuelans by the administration of Donald Trump: «We must stop the imperial madness», he said.
Finally, he said that this series of attacks by the US government “seeks to separate the parties so as not to reach an agreement. Now more than ever the dialogue is alive».
