Thanks to Chavez! Istúriz: The Revolution has allowed the development of a participatory democracy


Aristóbulo Istúriz, Vice-President for Territorial Socialism, stressed this Thursday that in Revolution has gone from an exclusive to a participatory democracy, also emphasized that thanks to Commander Hugo Chavez, we have managed to build 34 universities across the country.

He emphasized that the achievements of the Revolution are seen in concrete facts, citing as an example that today there are more than 3 million university students enrolled.

He recalled that the leader of the Revolution made education free, and also provided students with technology equipment so the children, youth and adults may have an up-to-date education.

This was reported from Miraflores Palace, Caracas, where an event was held to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the inauguration of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, as Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
