Homeland Candidate: Against the false offer of dollarization I say Petro

The candidate for the Ample Front of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, visited the town of Delta Amacuro on Tuesday to continue the electoral campaign ahead of the elections on May 20, highlighting that the country’s dollarization is not part of his proposals. On the contrary, a conversion of the currency has been impelled.

“With the monetary reconversion I will turn the Bolivar into a currency that has a preponderant role in the life of our Republic together with the Petro”, he said.

During a visit to the Navy Captain Antonio Díaz Airport, located in Tucupita, he pointed out that in the face of the false offer of dollarization made by other candidates, he offers the entire nation the cryptocurrency to counteract the imposed economic war.

“Faced with the false offer of dollarization, I say Petro, it is a sovereign currency of the country, it is not delivering commercial sovereignty, and turning the country into a colony”, said Maduro.

He explained that the proposal promoted by the presidential candidate of the Avanzada Progresista (AP) party, Henri Falcón, is unconstitutional and undermines the sovereignty of the national currency, the Bolívar.

“We must continue fighting for economic and monetary independence and only with our own instruments Venezuela will be able to travel the paths of true social justice,” said Maduro.
