COVID: Venezuela registers 300 community cases, and recovery rate is at 94%

On day 231 of the fight against Covid-19, Venezuela registers a total of 300 cases of community transmission and 12 cases imported from Colombia.

This totals 312 infections detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, to raise the total number of infections to 92,325, while the rate of recovered remains at 94% of the total of cases.

This was reported by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, in a work journey to present the balance of the fight against Covid-19, through the 7 + 7 Plus Perfect method.

In this sense, Rodríguez specified that the cases of community transmission were presented as follows:

Portuguesa: 16

Similarly, she announced that up to date there are 4,368 active cases, while those recovered amount to 87,156 patients, who have received free treatment amidst the worst criminal blockade the United States Government has imposed against the Venezuelan people.

Regarding the death toll, he specified that there were three regrettable losses: a 33-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man from Táchira state, and a 63-year-old woman from Mérida state.

Finally, the Executive Vice President reiterated the call to the Venezuelan people not to lose trust on the 7 + 7 Flexibilization Scheme, which has yielded extraordinary results when compared to situations in European countries, which are suffering a terrible, very marked and very deep rebound.
