Acting President reiterates there is work to consolidate energy agenda with the US

The Acting President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated that Venezuela and the United States are working on a rapid agenda to consolidate cooperation in energy matters, in benefit of both peoples:

“We are working on a very rapid agenda to consolidate bilateral cooperation. This is what matters to both the United States and Venezuela: that our countries, that our people, can see themselves benefitted,” she highlighted.

The Acting Dignitary stated that the agenda is progressing in a relationship based on respect and collaboration to strengthen the national industry and sum to a prosperous future for both nations.

Rodríguez highlighted that the US company Chevron “has over 100 years working with Venezuela, and we are doing an extraordinary work, as the partners we are.”

The Acting President toured last Thursday the facilities in the Hugo Chávez Orinoco Oil Belt and the José Antonio Anzoátegui Complex, along with U.S. Secretary of Energy, Christopher Wright.
