Acting President Delcy Rodríguez ordered to modify the Vice-Ministry for the Supreme Social Happiness of the People and to substitute it with the Office of the Vice-Minister for Social Protection. The measure was established in Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 6,984, which designated José Gregorio Mendoza Rodríguez as head of this new office.
In the same Gazette, Rodríguez ordered the creation of the Office of the Vice-Minister of Presidential Support, which will be part of the organizational structure of the Ministry of the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management. This office will be headed by José Gregorio Machado Pérez.
Likewise, it was created the Office of the Vice-Minister for Presidential Communication, which will be led by Alejandra Bastidas.
