With a proposal centered on strengthening multilateralism, respect to sovereignty, and seeking global consensus, the Venezuelan delegation leads its participation in the 81st UN General Assembly, a framework within which the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, is carrying out an intensive agenda of high-level work and bilateral meetings.
The presence of the Venezuelan delegation at the organization’s headquarters in New York reaffirms the nation’s commitment to the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, which is oriented toward defending non-interference and the sovereign equality of States, as well as the consolidation of the Latin American and Caribbean region as a zone of peace.
Venezuela’s Proposals Before the UN General Assembly:
During the development of the sessions term, Venezuela’s Head of State is holding strategic meetings with heads of state and international delegations to promote mutual cooperation frameworks and balanced international relations, while issuing a direct call for the UN system to reaffirm its founding principles in support of the development and stability of peoples.
Likewise, the national delegation will raise proposals aimed at ending unilateral coercive measures and consolidating a just, multipolar order, based in the tenets of the United Nations Charter. Through these efforts, Venezuela reaffirms its return to the center of international diplomatic debate, committing to active diplomacy, dialogue, and the forging of common paths to overcome global geopolitical challenges.
