The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, urged the country’s condominium boards this Saturday to participate in the second National Popular Consultation of 2026, an event scheduled for October 18th throughout the entire national territory.
During a tour of the «Deonicio Roaster» coffee processing equipment factory in Miranda state, the Head of State also invited communal organizations to take part in the process of selecting priority projects:
«I take this opportunity to make a call for next October 18 for the second popular consultation of Venezuela. In there will be participating communal councils, communes, and circuits that have selected projects . And well, those projects will go to a vote, and will also participate the condominium boards, currently heavily affected by the double earthquake, especially in the capital region and in Maracay (Aragua state). Let’s go with the condominium boards to this consultation on October 18,» Rodríguez urged.
This democratic journey anticipates the participation of approximately 5,336 communes and communal circuits throughout the country to submit to vote the community projects that will be consolidated through self-governance halls.
As a new feature within the process, this edition will incorporate the participation of condominium boards; these bodies will have the authority to propose specific projects aimed at addressing issues related to residential infrastructure and buildings, according to a press release.
