With the aim of ensuring the structural stability of the Port of La Guaira, the Presidential Commission on Habitability conducted an inspection of the piles supporting this important port structure.
During the assessment, specialists examined the vulnerabilities of the piles in order to establish the necessary recommendations to ensure the stability of the port infrastructure.
In this regard, civil engineer Jesús Vielma detailed that this inspection would allow to determine exactly the vulnerable points of the structure supporting the piers and bridges at the coastal state’s port.
