During the 579th issue of the “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer) program, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reiterated the importance of the dialogue process promoted by the State and that is underway in Venezuela, and stated: “Dialogue does not mean giving up for either side, it does not mean surrender for either side.”
Cabello recalled that the Venezuelan State “has made countless calls for dialogue at all levels and at all times” and that there is currently a group of “comrades led by Jorge Rodríguez who have the support of the party, the government, and the people, and there they are every time saying there is an opportunity, present” he expressed.
Likewise, Cabello reminded that the agenda, in which six representatives from each delegation are participating, has already yielded results in its first phase, which focuses on assisting the victims of the double earthquake and recovering Venezuelan assets held abroad.
Finally, the Secretary General of the PSUV expressed his hope that the national dialogue will continue and that this process will lead to further results that benefit and consolidate the country’s recovery.
