The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, commemorated this Thursday the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, highlighting his historical legacy in the struggle for sovereignty and unity in Latin America and the Caribbean.
According to a post on her channel on the Telegram social network, Rodríguez emphasized the revolutionary commander’s commitment to dignity, social justice, and internationalism in solidarity among the peoples.
Likewise, the Head of State described the Latin American leader as an ethical and principled reference for those nations defending their independence and self-determination on a global scale.
