A total of 23,587 people are being sheltered in 107 temporary camps installed throughout the country, as part of the labors of integral care after the earthquakes of June 24. Thus was reported by the Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, after presenting the updated balance of attention.
Through his channel on Telegram, he stated that the temporary camps have an installed capacity of 27,822 beds to guarantee the safeguarding and medical assistance of those affected.
He also detailed that in Caracas are active 41 camps that provide care to a total of 8,554 people, while in La Guaira state are enabled 48 centers to serve 12,474 citizens.
In Miranda state there are 23 temporary camps housing a total of 1,877 people, and in Aragua state were enabled 10 camps for 682 citizens.
