Venezuela and the United States consolidate a long-term productive partnership, after Acting President Delcy Rodríguez and the U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright evaluated specific projects in strategic sectors such as oil, natural gas, mining, and the national electricity system to dynamize the productive apparatus.
The working group, which included the President of PDVSA, Héctor Obregón Pérez, and diplomatic representative Félix Plasencia, allowed to define investment plans geared to the operational recovery and the utilization of hydrocarbons for regional energy security.
Acting President Delcy Rodríguez noted that the technical delegation accompanying Secretary Christopher Wright has held meetings with their Venezuelan counterparts to establish mechanisms of immediate implementation. This technical coordination has as its aim to chart the paths to advance in the strengthening of the industry and to unlock the energy potential of the country.
This technical deployment, conceived as the motor of the bilateral relationship, reaffirms the will of both nations to maintain permanent channels of dialogue to concrete the infrastructure and production projects discussed at Miraflores Palace. Likewise, it was ratified that this roadmap prioritizes operational effectiveness for both peoples, thus laying the groundwork for future work tables between teams of experts from both nations.
