The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, expressed solidarity with the Republic of Cuba against the interventionist stance of the European Parliament.
The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, Félix Plasencia, affirmed via Twitter that the European Parliament insists on politically instrumentalizing the issue of Human Rights.

The European Parliament promoted a debate on the situation on the Caribbean island for this Thursday, December 16.
Meanwhile, the Government of Cuba accused the European Parliament of having a double standard in the treatment of Human Rights.
