Venezuela registers 165 weekly international flight frequencies in May

The Venezuelan Association of Airlines (ALAV) reports an average of 165 weekly international flight frequencies during the month of May. The sSimón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía handles 80% of this offer, with 132 weekly flights, while the remaining 33 operations depart from other airports in the country.

The organization details that 11 foreign airlines and 7 domestic carriers cover various routes to the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. Additionally, the domestic fleet registers 514 weekly flights, of which 270 depart from Maiquetía to 19 domestic destinations, while 244 flights operate from other airports to 16 cities.

It is noteworthy that ALAV details the participation of companies such as Avianca, American Airlines, Copa, Iberia, Turkish Airlines, Conviasa and Laser, among others, in the consolidation of national and international air connectivity.
