As part of the agreements of the Program of Democratic Coexistence and Peace, the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated that the prices of products agreed upon between the National Government and national industry must be respected in order to prevent price gouging for the Venezuelan people:
“This must be part of the agreements, of the economic and social dialogue established by the Program of Democratic Coexistence and Peace. It is a dialogue for us to meet, but it is also a dialogue for us to meet in the diversity of our sectors.
In the economic sector, in the political sector, in the social sector, and so that we may go marching forward to guarantee the future of Venezuela, its independence and sovereignty; so let’s go united, as one great country, all of us united,” explained Rodríguez.
The information was released during a visit to the Alimentos Río de Oro company, where she inspected the food processing plant to verify its productive process.
Within this context, the Acting President emphasized that the National Executive is committed to the production of domestic foods and to guaranteeing the supply of food to the Venezuelan people, especially for the most vulnerable sectors, with established prices.
