The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting on Monday with the former President of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
The meeting was held at Miraflores Palace, in Caracas; with the presence (also) of the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; and the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.
Zapatero is in the country meeting a work schedule.
Zapatero was a mediator in the dialogues between the Government of Venezuela and the opposition, as well as he advocated; repeatedly, for a great national dialogue to solve the problems in the country.
Likewise, he served as an observer in the mega-elections held in November last year.
