President Nicolás Maduro and Parliamentarian Cilia Flores will appear before the Federal Justice of the US in New York next March 26, after another postponement of the process.
International media reported that the hearing was rescheduled due to logistical reasons and scheduling conflicts, by agreement between the Prosecutor’s Office and the defense.
The upcoming court appearance will be crucial in determining the next steps in the case, a month and a half after the kidnapping denounced by the Venezuelan authorities.
The Government and various sectors of the country maintain the demand for the immediate release of both citizens.
