“In these days the joint response of 31 countries, along with Venezuelan rescue and relief teams, has shown us that we are not alone”. Thus was manifested by the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, after expressing her gratitude to the nations of the world that are providing support to Venezuela in the face of the seismic emergency.
Through her channel on Telegram, Rodríguez indicated that the pain of the Venezuelan people has been transformed into gratitude for all those who have come to risk their lives to save others:
“Venezuela will forever remember international solidarity!” she noted in the post.
More than 30 nations around the world have expressed their solidarity with Venezuela by sending rescuers, specialized equipment, and humanitarian aid to address the damage caused by the natural disaster of last June 24.
The international community’s response to the humanitarian emergency in Venezuela has been immediate, active, and timely, thus accelerating the processes of rescue and assistance to victims.
