President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez resumes international agenda with visit to Türkiye

President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, arrived this Sunday at Istanbul International Airport, coming from India.

The President in Charge is expected to hold meetings with high-ranking Turkish government officials to strengthen diplomatic, commercial, and strategic cooperation ties with the Republic of Türkiye.

Accompanying the Head of State in Charge are the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil; the Vice President for Science, Technology, Ecosocialism, and Health, Isabel Iturria; the Vice President for Communication and Culture, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela; the Minister of People’s Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez; the Minister of People’s Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello; and the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, Jacqueline Faría. and the Minister of the People’s Power for the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Juan Escalona.

Upon their arrival at the air terminal, the presidential delegation was received with the corresponding protocol honors by an official delegation of the highest level from the Turkish government.

The formal welcome greeting was led by the Minister for Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Alparslan Bayraktar, who was accompanied by the Vice Governor of Istanbul, Mr. Mustafa Asım Alkan, and the Deputy Mayor of Istanbul, Mr. Gökhan Gümüşdağ, representing the highest political and territorial authorities of the region.
