As part of the high-level official agenda in the Republic of India, the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the facilities of the iconic Hyderabad House.
In this line, it is important to note that this meeting is focused on strengthening the role of both nations in the geopolitical context of the Global South and on revitalizing mutually beneficial macroeconomic agreements.
Likewise, it is important to highlight that the dialogue was centered on an integral review of the roadmap for mutual cooperation, with particular emphasis on the hydrocarbons sector, since India has become one of the main destinations for Venezuelan energy exports, making energy security a fundamental pillar of the bilateral relationship.
Accompanied by a ministerial delegation from the offices of Economy, Foreign Affairs, Science and Technology, Transport, and Communications, the Venezuelan dignitary met with the Indian Prime Minister to discuss various opportunities for expansion for the two countries.
The meeting, held at the stately Hyderabad House, a venue reserved for receptions of the highest-ranking foreign dignitaries, reaffirmed the excellent state of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and India, marking one of the most significant diplomatic events of the year for the country’s economic development.
Once the meeting ended, the President in Charge signed the guestbook at the residence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a symbol of mutual respect, the strengthening of diplomatic ties, and as a historical record of this official visit.
