The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led a work meeting with the Sectoral Vice Presidents in order to evaluate the integral response following the devastating earthquakes of last June 24.
Given the magnitude of this catastrophe, which has motivated the declaration of seven days of national mourning, the National Executive maintains a constant deployment in the affected areas, prioritizing support for the affected families and the social protection of citizens.
As part of the government’s response, has been consolidated the «Great Mission Venezuela Reborn», which articulates efforts of diverse social missions for the reconstruction, supported by the activation of 10 strategic economic engines which include banking, construction, the pharmaceutical and alimentary sectors.
In the economic field, the President in Charge recently announced the creation of the «Venezuela Reborn» fund, which will be financed with resources blocked in international organizations to fund the country’s recovery. This includes the allocation of a monthly bonus for those affected for the next six months, among other actions.
