President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez decorates Defenders of the Guayana Esequiba

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led a ceremony at Miraflores Palace to award an acknowledgment to the legal and diplomatic team that exerts the patriotic defense of the Guayana Esequiba.

The meeting had the presence of Chancellor Yván Gil; State Representative Larry Devoe; Attorney General Arianny Seijo; former Attorney General Reinaldo Muñoz; diplomat Jorge Reyes; and Ambassador to France Samuel Moncada.

This latest historical research team achieved to compile more than 3,000 pages of solid documentary evidence.

This valuable heritage irrefutably demonstrates before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) the nullity of the fraudulent 1899 Paris Arbitration Award and reaffirms the absolute validity of the 1966 Geneva Agreement.

During this official journey is highlighted the work of the Venezuelan delegation in the recent oral hearings at The Hague, founded on the binding mandate of the Consultative Referendum of December 3, 2023.

This way, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms that Venezuela is the sole and legitimate owner of this 160,000 square kilometer territory, thus consolidating a historic and unanimous position that unifies the feeling of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the entire Venezuelan people.
