President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez activates Chuquisaca National Plan for the ecological and climatic restoration of the country

The President in Charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Sunday the launch of the Chuquisaca National Plan, a State Policy aimed at the ecological and climatic restoration of the nation. This initiative is being executed hand in hand with the country’s small park rangers through community journeys in which are being planted endemic species and national trees such as the Araguaney. The project is fully framed within the fifth historical objective of the Homeland Plan, which seeks to consolidate an eco-socialist economic model that guarantees a harmonious and integral relationship between human beings and nature.

Inspired by the conservationist vision that the Liberator Simón Bolívar expressed 200 years ago to preserve the environment, the seedbed of the Homeland, together with the national Executive unites direct efforts with the land, reaffirming the sovereign commitment to protect the ecosystem and restore vitality to historically violated spaces. With a historic goal based on Bolivarian decrees to plant millions of trees throughout the national territory, the Chuquisaca National Plan not only promotes active reforestation in the face of climate change, but also comprehensively promotes environmental education and the protection of local fauna.
