The President in Charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, inaugurated the Center for Technology and Data Management of the Hydrocarbons sector, a strategic infrastructure designed to consolidate the scientific sovereignty of the national energy industry.
Through her official channel on Telegram, President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez reported that, together with the working class, she toured these new facilities that will concentrate the data bank, information systems and the systems of integral automation of the country’s main industry. In this regard, she emphasized that this firm step towards the future will allow for the promotion of internal technical development through the use of tools of a cutting-edge technological generation.
The new operational center has as its fundamental objective to strengthen the maintenance of oil fields throughout the national territory through the design of predictive models that will allow to optimize extraction and refining capacities. Likewise, President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez highlighted that the complex will incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) tools in each production process in order to increase the efficiency of the sector, thus serving also as a space for training and scientific research that will be at the direct service of professional youth and new talents that drive the country’s economic growth.
