The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held an institutional meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Venezuela, Álvaro Rodríguez, with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Venezuelan State and the multilateral organization.
The meeting addressed the strategic transition from emergency assistance to projects focused on sustainable development and social protection.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the work agenda of the UN agencies in the country and coordinated the foundations of the strategic cooperation framework for the coming years.
Likewise, the meeting contemplates the evaluation of the operational mechanisms of the existing agreements between the Republic and the international organization.
