President Delcy Rodríguez handed over 151 new homes, for a post-earthquake total of 528

As part of the «Venezuela Renace» (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led his Wednesday a nationwide event to hand over 151 new dignified homes, reaching the figure of 528 housing solutions granted to families affected by the twin earthquakes registered last June 24.

The ceremony took place in the El Valle parish of Caracas—specifically in the Simón Bolívar sector of Fort Tiuna—where the allocation of 10 apartments was formalized.

Simultaneously, she announced the granting of new homes in four other regions of the country:

– Monagas state: 80 homes in the «Dr. José Gregorio Hernández» housing complex, Boquerón parish, Maturín municipality.

– Nueva Esparta state: 32 homes in the «Gaspar Marcano» housing complex, Vista Alegre sector, Marcano municipality.

– Trujillo state: 20 homes in the «Jardín del Edén II» housing complex, Boconó parish, Boconó municipality.

– Carabobo state: 9 homes in the Ciudad Chávez housing development.

During the event, it was highlighted that these actions are part of the policy of integral care aimed at the social and housing recovery of the population struck by the seismic doublet, as well as at addressing potential contingencies caused by natural phenomena.

The journey was attended by the Sectoral Vice President for Administration and Digital Government, Anabel Pereira, and the Minister of People’s Power for Habitat and Housing, Paola Posani, among other officials. They participated in the territorial deployment to ensure the restoration of the right to housing and the protection of the Venezuelan people.
