Venezuela rejects assassination of Russia's ambassador to Turkey


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people, rejected the assassination of the Russian Federation’s Ambassador Andrei Gennádevich Karlov in the Republic of Turkey this Monday.
This was reported by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, through a message published in her account on the Twitter social network, @DrodriguezVen.
“The Venezuelan Government expresses its solidarity and dismay to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to the Russian people and especially to the relatives of Ambassador Karlov, for this repudiable event,” says part of the official communiqué.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Government and the Venezuelan people, expresses his deepest condemnation of the assassination of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey, Andrei Gennádevich Karlov, in a terrorist attack which happened in Ankara, this Monday, December 19, 2016.
The Venezuelan Government expresses its solidarity and dismay at the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, at the Russian people and especially at the relatives of Ambassador Karlov, for this disgusting event.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its support for Russia’s aggressive and self-sacrificing efforts in defense of peace in the Syrian Arab Republic and throughout the region through the firm combat against extremist and terrorist groups. The Bolivarian Government makes a call on the West to stop the campaigns of hate and falsification against the Russian sisterly nation.
Venezuela rejects terrorism in all its expressions and wishes to prevent the causes of this phenomenon that subjects whole peoples to fear and violence and at this sensitive moment reiterates the principles of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy in strict respect of the International Law for the peaceful coexistence of nations, free from hatred and intolerance.
