PSUV honored Commander Fidel Castro in Caracas


The national leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela came to the seat of the Cuban embassy in Caracas this Wednesday to express their condolences and honor the revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, who died on November 25 at the age of 90.
In this sense, Diosdado Cabello,  first Vice-President of the PSUV, pointed out that although the world’s right wing has made great efforts in the media to “try to detract one of the most extraordinary human beings,” the peoples of the world have expressed their gratitude to Commander Fidel.
He recalled that commanders Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro got the duty of uniting Venezuelans and Cubans into a single people, and so he called to collect “the teachings of these great leaders to go to the full victory of a true socialist system for the world “.
The also deputy to the National Assembly highlighted the greatness of Cuba, a country that, in his view, has reached out its hand to the Latin American peoples when they need it.
He urged, also, not to abandon the legacy of the Cuban leader, “whoever may have doubts can read him”, while referring that “Fidel Castro was absolved by the history and the affection of the peoples.”
