The Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, attended on Tuesday the military march and handed out decorations to the military personnel with an outstanding participation during the attempt of a coup d’etat last April 30, 2019, at the La Carlota Air Base, in the city of Caracas.
At the activity that took place in the Bolivarian Marine Infantry Command, in Vargas state, was evidenced the putting into full operational readiness and offensive capacity of the military units stationed in the Vargas ZODI, to guarantee sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence and defense of Peace.
In this sense, the Head of State said that Venezuela has “a powerful, cohesive, better trained and professional FANB to defend our lands and our seas”.
He also congratulated the attitude of the military corps for the awareness shown in the face of the provocations of the Venezuelan opposition and its allies in recent days, as well as emphasizing that thanks to the cohesion existing within the FANB “We will have the guarantee of territorial integrity and respect to our country”.
