The rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, provided details on the voting methods that will be implemented on December 15, in which 4,817 voting centers will be activated for the election of Judges of the Peace.
It is important to mention that each circuit will have an electoral center, although in some cases a circuit will have more than one axis, all according to the capacity of its spaces.
In this context, he reported that this Wednesday, December 11, all members of the electoral commissions are being trained, who after this empirical training will proceed to install each of the voting machines, starting at 8:00 in the morning next Friday.
The CNE director added that all the electoral material is distributed in all the states of the country and that this Thursday the material will be transferred to the centers.
In this line, he highlighted that the electoral commission is made up of four members and each one belongs to a branch of the State, which shows once again the capacity that the Venezuelan State has when it works in an integrated manner.
Regarding the process to find out about the voting center where they should go to exercise their right to vote, he explained that there is an infrastructure where there are Communal Circuits associated with 43,000 Communal Councils; and that on the website of the Ministry of People’s Power for Communes and Social Movements, they can access and search for the state, municipality and parish that they should visit.
Quintero said that each Venezuelan can consult the information through the 0800-VOTEMOS hotline, and at the CNE, for more details about their electoral center, in addition to communicating that the process on Sunday will run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
