Denounced maneuvers of hostile governments to prevent NAM communiqué

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced that the ruling elites of Peru, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala and Panama are trying to block a communiqué issued by the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM) condemning the frustrated magnicide against the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

During an act of mobilization of the Venezuelan people, through the center of the country’s capital, the head of foreign relations explained that Venezuela, as the pro-tempore president of the multilateral mechanism, is promoting the publication of the communiqué, which has received the support of 113 countries. of the organization.

He explained that the communiqués issued by the organism must be by consensus and some countries of the region try not to do it, violating the principles of diplomacy.

In his speech, Arreza also referred and dismissed the reaction of the Colombian Foreign Ministry to the accusations made by the Venezuelan head of State, of the Colombian president’s link with the attempted attack.

Finally, he assured that the Venezuelan president will present evidentiary elements about the facts and their national and international ties.
