The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, said on Friday that, just as ordered by the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ), he proceeded to approve the Sovereign Budget of the Nation for 2017.

The budget, estimated in 8,479,301,000 bolivars, seeks to maintain and ensure the economic and social stability of the nation, in order to ensure the full protection of the Venezuelan family.
