Jaua: Faced with the inaction of the NA, the people becomes comptroller

Deputy Elias Jaua, said on Tuesday that against the inaction and disrespect of the National Assembly, the Venezuelan people is sovereignly approving the 2017 budget, in order to continue the path of social equality and to advance towards the productive economic transformation.
From Miranda state, where he led a journey of discussion with the organized people’s power, he stressed that sovereignty in Venezuela is non-transferable, and that is why the people have organized meetings to exercise the comptrollership.
He further said that, despite the difficulties and economic problems, it is being reborn the Constitutional spirit of 1999, which will move more strongly to a 2017 victory.
«Long live participatory democracy,» he said.
