Maduro: This Monday begins vaccination against COVID-19 for children over 2 years of age

President Nicolás Maduro announced that this Monday will begin the vaccination plan against COVID-19 for children over 2 years of age:

“Tomorrow, Monday, November 8, we begin the vaccination of girls and boys from two years of age and older”, he reported in a televised broadcast from the open spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater, within the framework of the weekly presentation of the balance of the struggle and control of Covid 19.

In this context, he reported that this Sunday arrived in the country 1,600,000 doses of Abdala vaccines from Cuba: “which come to join the Chinese and Russian vaccines with which the population has been immunized to take care of the virus”.

He reported that Venezuela has reached the goal of 70% of population vaccinated.

He reiterated that the government’s goal is to reach, by November 30, a rate of 80% of the population vaccinated: “And the goal that we have re-estimated for December 31 is to reach 90% of the Venezuelan population vaccinated”, he added.
