PDVSA will begin a new stage of revolutionary transformation

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified on Wednesday the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to resize the action and productivity of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) with the working class, in a new stage of revolutionary transformation to orient its resources to socioeconomic attention direct from the town.

Through a message in his account on the Facebook social network, the President highlighted his meeting with the oil working class to discuss the lines of action that will strengthen the production of oil, gas and petrochemicals.

“In the framework of the process of profound transformation that PDVSA and the entire oil industry have initiated, this Tuesday I held a meeting with the Assembly of the Working Class of our main company, to discuss with them the main lines of action we have to recover, purify and strengthen the production of oil, gas and petrochemicals, in order to generate the economic resources our people need.

In this meeting, together with the new oil minister and President of PDVSA, M/G Manuel Quevedo, we explained how the mafias were permeating the structure of the first company in the country, as part of a plan to destabilize Venezuela and generate large profits for corrupt sectors.

Therefore, we have defined four fundamental tasks, to work in order to resume once again, the control of PDVSA so that its resources go directly to the people, just as Commander Hugo Chávez achieved in 2002. We will overcome any difficulty, because we are loaded with the moral energy of so many years of struggle”.
